We wanted to make sure all competitors are aware of the helmet & equipment requirements, per the USASA Rulebook, for Ski/Boarder Cross athletes. See below:

603 EQUIPMENT
- Recommended that Competitors select appropriate body protection
- Snowboards with square tails or pointed tips are not allowed.
- Poles are allowed in Ski Cross
- Boardercross & SkiCross competition suits must be two piece– pants and separate top. Form fitting speed or downhill suits are not
permitted
- Helmets for use in Ski Cross events shall be specifically designed and manufactured for the respective discipline. The helmet shall be certified under both ASTM 2040 and EN 1077 (class A – hard sided)
